The subject I admit is a mystery, but I suspect that the KJV was provincally brought into existance by the Lord and while it does have a need to be updated regarding some words it nevertheless is blessed because it is true to the faith and is a word for word translation inasmuch as such is possible given the difference languages involved. I believe that the motivation behind the translation determines the Spirit at work there. IE. If it was by the will of God it has His blessing, if not, then it is simply by the will of man, meaning that Satan, not the Lord was the motivating influence behind the endevor. The Spirit that motivates the work determines the outcome, so only that which is inspired of God, truly has God's blessing. It's like the verse about those who are born again. John 1:13 "Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." That which is simply, by the 'will of man', is 'like' man, 'tainted with sin', that which has God's blessing however, is 'blessed' even if it isn't yet perfect, much like a rough uncut diamond. I would prefer an uncut diamond to a piece of sparkling glass anyday.
I read a joke in the paper. That is sure to get a chuckle especially from the fairer sex. It goes like this.

Who is smarter men or women?

Well, diamonds are a girl's best friend.
And a dog is man's best friend.
You do the math.
