Being a mainstream Evangelical and a pastor in a mainstream Evangelical denomination, having attended and graduated from a mainstream Evangelical university. I can say you are wrong with what your assumptions are. An atheist Christ hating website is less than a reliable source for the complete beliefs and practices of mainstream Evangelicals. How many mainstream evangelicals have you talked with to form your opinions. To find out about Christians and what they believe and practice IMO it is better to talk to Christians rather than to refer to the skewed views of a Christ hating atheistic website, which from viewing your website you frequent quite often.
