Thanks Farmer, I appreciate your effort but I'm not really interested in theological answers to the question of whether or not children are born sociopaths. I'd much rather read what science has to say on the matter. However, while I no longer consider the Bible an authority on anything at all, or even just a guide on how to live a moral life, I recognize that you and many others do. I can't hope to change that, but I can hope to change people's attitudes, whatever their belief system, regarding violence of any kind against children for any reason.
So, for those who don't like my children's rights focused, secular humanist approach to the issue of corporal punishment but prefer a religious approach perhaps you will find something on the following website that you can use to justify not hitting children for any reason.
