Why do you insist on making this personal? Whether I have or ever had children, or had step-children or children under my care for that matter, is irrelevant to the issue. This conversation is about the issue of corporal punishment of children, though you have tried to make it about something else. And I've made it very clear that I approach the issue from a children's rights perspective.
If you check my website you will see that I'm an advocate of Aboriginal rights, but I am not an Aboriginal. I'm an advocate of drug addicts rights, but I'm not an addict. I'm an advocate of women's rights, particularly of sex-trade workers, but I am neither. You don't need to own a dog, or a whale, to be an advocate of animal rights. And you don't need to have or have had children to be an advocate of children's rights.
