From the children's rights perspective that I've been arguing against the corporal punishment of children, it really doesn't make a difference if an adult believes a child is born a psychopath because of biological or evolutionary reasons, or because of spiritual reasons (the parent's sins, etc.). In neither case is hitting the child going to resolve any behavioral problems, for example.

Hitting a child will not drive "the devil" out of her, nor will it solve any of the problems associated with psychopathy. Do I have all (or any) answers for dealing with difficult children? No. But I do know that violence against children, beating them into submission, is not the answer.
