Perry,
I find interesting your take on my choice of words. I am willing to accept that they may have been a poor choice on my part, considering its origin but your answer makes me think that may be I wasn't that wrong. My point was that there is a culture where killing people because of their skin color was not frowned, and the attitude still lingers in that same culture. How is it surprising that such a culture simple expands that attitude to include other groups?
You ask me if I am anti-American. I ask you if it is anti-American to oppose wrong behaviors, or to silence voices that oppose cultural behaviors, such as that type of killings? That type of silence is why Berg's doctrines took root. I think it was wrong then and I believe it is wrong now.
Now, I would like to ask you if you would have silenced people in TF who questioned Berg's teachings, which then became part of TF's culture? That seems to be the attitude you are talking about. My understanding of cultic behavior is that cultic people (and I am not sure that is a real word) will not raise their voice to denounce things like that. They will behave like zombies without questioning.
You must have reasons to feel the need to defend your status of not being anti-American. I haven't visited your websites but it is curious to me the way some people don't see the parallel of being in TF and being part of a culture where dissenters are silenced. In both cases, people who do not speak up when they see something wrong and those who want to silence those who do speak up, are cultic.
