That is no answer whatsoever to the question at hand, which is: what is the proof of Jesus' resurrection and message? It was claimed by Patrick that the resurrection was "proof" of his message. My retort was that since there is no proof of Jesus' resurrection there is no proof of his message.
I don't see how the personal experience testimony of one Rabbi is proof of anything. I read his story (even though it makes me sick reading such crap as it reminds me so much of the Family) and there is no proof of anything there.
Personal experience that is not backed up with hard fact is only convincing to the gullible and naive. And it is as unreliable as eye witness testimony. And that is all you've offered so far, someone's personal experience, and the supposed eye-witness testimony of Jesus' disciples, writing long after the events and with obvious motives for fudging the facts.
As for those verses in Daniel - same answer. They are not proof of anything. In fact, they can be and have been translated in different ways. See:
I can guess how you might respond to that: since Jews are interested in denying that Jesus was the Messiah they will interpret Old Testament scripture to fit their beliefs so it is no surprise that they deny those verses in Daniel refer to Jesus.
I'll let you Christians and Jews fight that one out. As for me, I'm not holding my breath waiting for proof that Jesus resurrected or did miracles or that he's the Messiah. None has ever been offered and I'm guessing none will ever be.
