You have your opinion and so do I. You talk of perverted Christianity, so do I but my view of what is American Christianity includes perverted Christianity.

Though most Christians are genuine and sincere, the philosophies they follow are on sand. That foundation and the building above is what I consider perverted - all as a whole.

I make a difference between the building (the doctrines, ideas, philosophies, the culture of a particular building, or church)and the people who go into those buildings (the well meaning Christians). To me, the foundation is wrong and the building is wrong. American Christianity is the building that has been perverted.

It is obvious to me that being a Pastor (occupation I respect) you have a stake in the issue. In my opinion, Christianity in America (a very broad brush here) is wrong in many fundamental ways. This is the American view of Christianity I am talking about, manipulated for mass consumption, just another product in the jungle of enterprises in the economic, intellectual, spiritual marketplace. Some buy it, others don't, and in all cases, it is just a product to be exported into other countries. It is just like Burger King and Coca-Cola T-shirts.
