No, I didn't come up with all that. I wish I did though. It's copied from one of those emails circulating the Internet. Funny enough, I had contributed to few other joke mails which made the rounds in cyberworld and returned to my mailbox many years later. When I told all my colleagues that it was in fact ME who had come up with the jokes, they said, "Yeah, right!"
I think the "Jews and marriage" thing is a play on the stereotype because statistically they don't get married and live with their parents forever. But then you could say the same about Spaniards too. Maybe Jesus was Spanish.
The "talking with hands" thing is probably referring to the way Jesus didn't answer but drew on the ground.
