Greetings. First I would like to point out that if the Pope publically approved of Bush's war against Iraq, some people would come to some rather obvious conclusions and concerns that both the Papacy and Bush would rather avoid generating, and so the Pope plays the good cop while Bush plays the bad cop. I will explain. If the public realized that the Pope, the UN, and Bush were actually working together to bring in a totalitarian world government (The New World Order) the world might just wake up and resist it. By appearing divided, the public is left off guard not knowing 'who all' is behind the now obvious plan to bring in a centralized world government. The real mastermind behind this scheme is actually Satan and so likewise all the major players in this prophesied anti-christ world government system are themselves, also, adepts in the art of deception. Let me ask you one question. If the Pope was truly opposed to war (Not exactly a tradition for the Papacy.) why then doesn't he use his authority to forbid Catholics from taking part in wars? The Lord Jesus, throughout the New Testament, has expressly forbidden His servants from engaging in violence, , but where in history has the Papacy ever issued an edict to Catholics to actually obey these commands of Jesus Christ?

Romans 3:12-18
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes."
