To anyone visiting this board an important work (of Dr.Leslie McFall) on the very sobering subject of the possibility/rather impossibility of remarriage, if the seperated mate is still alive...if one seeks to enter into heaven...I don't think the "paper" was around, when I searched heavily Bible, books/scripture commentaries & most of all English websites literally by the hundreds 4 years back & I came to the same conclusion (he ain't the only one emphasizing it in the net & elsewhere)...I would have remembered the site...but do check the website & the subject out, if it might concern you or someone in need of counsel:
