Someone breaks into your house and begins viciously beating your children and raping your wife. Do you stand there praying & saying, 'if someone slaps you on one cheek, offer to them the other'? do you say, 'Father forgive them'?
Or would you fight them to protect your family? Remember, hitting with your fists is physical violence too, even if you have no gun.
