Seems to me that this film couldn't help but be a success. It has the whole rags to riches theme going for it that seems to feature in so many movies that make it...probably something to do with the American Dream which was then moved into new PC heights. I won't be watching it though because I was disgusted by how they brought the actors into the states so that we could all watch them be dazzled by the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
