Pastor Don, I spent most of my life in the lower keys; Big Pine, Little Torch, Sugarloaf, and Cudjoe. I love the tropical flora and fauna. My wife and I had a real good sit. there, as we were so grandfathered in: Self-employed out of the house, home schooling, nursey full of tropicals...the only problem for us was, that it was such a bad place to raise the kids. Now the kids are grown (in Milwaukee, WI) and more or less out of the house... As far as I can tell, though, the Keys are pretty much ruined for those wanting to live the simple life. I have just thought for the past year or so, that now would be a real good time to go to Cuba, to get in on the ground floor, at the start of things... Besides, these Northern winters really suck.
