I understand; now. I'd say "I be schooled"; but my Euro buds might assume I am a typical American racist (I work at a 99% black Elementary School--I love them, and they love me!).
I love Rodeo Week, by the way. I have had the fun of telling my students that 1/3 of the Old West Cowboys who went on the Trail Rides were black (1/3 white, 1/3 Mexican/Texican), and most of them came from the Union Army, were called "Buffalo Soldiers" by the Native Americans, and were very tough and smart!
February's Black History Month.
