I find your post ironic, to say the least.

I am always amazed by the audacity of religious people with different/altering lifestyles than my own happy and ethical one, trying to tell me how I should really think/live/act. I live in faith, and I understand very well that we will never reach anyone through righteous indignation or demonizing or shaming behaviors.

Religion is private. Civil liberty is public. Let's not allow our religious arrogance to get confused as to who's rights come first - the public's right to live as they will, without hurting other of course, comes first. If you don't like who gets rights equal to yours, you can always teach your children to 'hate' (I love how you used quotes for this profoundly un-christian word) in the privacy of your own home.
