Let the facts speak better for themselves, without the hyperbole. I don't know if you could say TFI is "an organization of pedofiles" across the board. As much as I share your sentiments that TFI is a dangerous organization preying on the weak and telling them half truths to draw them in, I am sure that not every one who is a member is a pedofile. The fact though is that TFI has members who are pedofiles, and they evade criminal prosecution by 1) residing in countries where the law has no jurisdiction 2) the statute of limitations 3) the use of pseudonyms (biblical names) and the hiding of their true legal identities and whereabouts. It is also a fact that TFI will not willingly cough up the legal names and locations of these people in question. If however, any individuals should be cornered and made to face the law, TFI will ask that they "leave" the group for the duration of the legal proceedings so as to be able to say "no member of TFI has ever been charged with any crime."

Assuming it is the USA you are referring to, the First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion. For TFI crimes against its members to come to light, members have to press charges. For any victims of long-term abuse be able to do this, they have to survive the abuse and be of sound enough mind to initiate and sustain the efforts. The general problem with people who exit cults or any severely abusive situation is the years it takes to recover, and sometimes the statute of limitations has expired by then. TFI knows full well that drawn-out legal proceedings are a daunting task for the victims they have brain-fucked and weakened, although they spiritualize and label their condition with pseudo-biblical terms like "oppressed by the Devil," for "kicking against the pricks," etc.

You are absolutely right. I know this too. But when I was newly exited, I didn't know how misogynous and chauvinist my thinking was. It took me a couple of years to learn and rethink my own values.
