As may be known by now, I am interested in marriage ceremonies (as of the significance in the bridegroom-bride...Jesus-church relationship), furthermore in India in general...plus the "strange" conservation there of marriage-ceremonies resembling quite the jewish ones...and since very long I am interest in environmental issues...for some 40 years now
here's a bit of a combination of all of it ; )

In that sense I believe in eschatological prophesy: I think we're doomed.
I think similarly...only that my environmental scare of my teenage years has been transponded/changed into a confidence/faith...that God will make the earth anew...since I am a premillenialist
I believe, the Christians and others have some "clean up" to do in the 1000 years of Christ's ruling on earth...a wasteful style of living isn't really then the "in-thing", I suppose...
That way I "liked" 2012...the movie...because it shows in amazing biblical (Revelation) parallel...the awsome/fearful things ahead of us... manmade/triggered but then also God's response/judgement in the wrath of God...not a cozy thing to read and reflect about.
Nonetheless I do like you, what I can do and also what is expected as a minimum in German society in regards to recycling etc.
Our specie survives...that is biblical faith...but man doesn't dictate God, the creator, on which terms so to speak...it's the other way around ...any "deal"
real survival is linked to the salvation message...faith in it...and I wish all the readers on journeys " a faithful acception" of such
