In a way, Jesus’ birthday is our birthday too. Because the Light came into the world at Bethlehem, we had the opportunity to receive him, which caused us to be “born of God.” (John 1:12)--God became man to die for all men. That is the true miracle of Christmas.
Perhaps Christmas is the perfect time to take a few moments to reread the Easter story to remind ourselves of the whole picture. Jesus went from a wooden manger to a wooden cross to give his life for us. Above all that He rose from the dead to give us eternal life. In these days let’s not forget the True Miracle of Christmas!
