Ok...with all acceptance...that TF is pretty ignorant in most matters...sadly to say also in the spiritual and language fields...nevertheless I knew already while in TF from the footnotes, that selah can be associated with silence..this is also one thing security/WS-homes were noticed for: not to witness...or hardly at all....in that way they were "silent"...never ever did I think while in TF, that selah meant security...did you?
When it said selah in the Psalms I thought of a pause...like my footnotes suggested...so I doubt, that the average TFer has a problem with that.
Same goes for a Roman...a Roman is not per se a police man...but got used for officers of law and state in accordance with romans 13...that is TF-lingo hyperbole/analogism etc...that's the least I have trouble with.
