Dear MG...before you "jump the gun"...why don't you make the "little effort" to see the book online (the google link I gave)...you can scroll through much of the book...you find amazing things regarding tongues and the aborigines e.g. or mentioning the book of Rabindranath R. Maharaj...the death of a guru (I read it 10 years ago with much gain)...the author ..Dr. Koch... met ´him in Switzerland...where he apparently lived then/the ex-guru...to ask him about being slain in the spirit etc...just interesting things to know among much other stuff....but I am not sure whether you're interested...e.g. many...among them Meister Eckhart...from which apparently Tolle lend his name... taught, like others...namely from the east...to empty yourself...to be silent etc...problems is from Christian perspective...you lay yourself wide open for the dark side posing itself as light...sorry to emphasise that here...
Eckhart interested me in my Teenage years...but not anymore...I mean the man...Koch...had a very
vast experience in pastoral counselling, dealing with all kinds of spiritual/spiritistic caused problems...he gives in many books examples...sometimes with permission of the counterparts their full name...if you want to miss that??...since you have probabably all kinds of other books ; ) ... just a suggestion
