very deep...and like you said...to judge is really kind of forbidden...but Paul also says, he doesn't "worry" about them which are without/outside...God judges them...which are within should be judge by maturer Christians (1.Cor.5:11-13)...within the local church...I assume (later Clemens "intervened from Rome in the affairs of Corinth
)
While I was still in TF (Italy at that time)...I saw in one library while postering "Butler's lives of the saints"...in volumes...and I devoured quite a bit of it, desiring to know, how other peoplke throughout churchhistory lived "their Christianity"...it was quite informative.I had though to resist then the "strong pull" Catholicism has on ones feelings/sentiments/psyche...it all goes rather into the direction of woks/saints/ and dogma-worship...magnifying one portion (Bible) leaving out something else and downright neglecting essentials...by these fruits you have to make a stand then...still I kept reading some more biographies also wondered about
Therese Neumann (counterfeit or not is also the raging question here) Anna Katharina Emmerick and the like...There is a desire of the "soul/...spirit" for more saintliness...but then some or rather many examples..."rolemodels" seem not to fit anymore with time passing by...anyway I have settled since 15 years or so
more with the simple biographies of "protestant heroes"...with less "flamboyant" events in their lives
