Thank you!!!!...while I knew about the worship of the moon-god/deity in that area in that time...dark-side here...I failed to remember about the more or less direct link to Allah via al-ilah...the wiki article shows how easy the word also got into the Catholic/Christian usage...see Malta and Malaysia...Christians in the Arab world etc.
