Dear Mike, I have gone over your site and found it most interesting. The historical article on the Salvation Army was extremely well done. Who would have guessed that a pawnbroker's apprentice (William Booth - founder of the SA) would have started out by preaching at a hotel called the Eastern Star. I don't however agree with the humanist twist that he (Booth) applied to the Gospel. (Saying - You can't preach the Gospel to a starving man.) (Why not?) Skinny sinners need to be saved too and if the SA tried to fatten them all up first, some might just sneak off before actually hearing the Gospel.
I noticed that your doctrinal position includes, 'annihilationism'-'soul sleep' beliefs, (No eternal suffering for the damned.) and so I ask if your ministry is affiliated with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church? Most most born again believers consider them to be a cult.
