I thought I was fairly clear in my years on the board...mentioning again and again, that the remarriage is "t h e" problem...you have separation on probation or for fixed time in some countries then legal divorce...then the right to remarry...that is what "governments grant"...separation or even divorce, when remaining single still allows the possibility to reconcile or if not possible, remaining single...hard as it may seem...I know how it feels, by the way...but try to get the meaning of it all out of Mt. 5 Mt.19 and 1.Cor.7...I tried for years and now I am convinced...it's about becoming o n e.....what it amounts to in modern days is "open heart surgery"...in divorce and remarriage....the early and later church fathers were never favourable to remarriage, except for one lone voice in the wilderness, if I recall that right...forgot who or what it was.
Jesus said in the beginning it was not so...because of the hardness of the heart etc.....so figure that out, what the right attitude has got to be, see????
My religion has got to come from hearing the word of God or else it is a false one....church or no church...but thank God...there are quite a lot who come to similar/same conclusions...and agreed, not all of them meet in the church I go to...sad as it may be...but staying by myself is also not the right alternative.
What's wrong for (for...for!!!) the woman (it's for her prayer life!!) to cover her hair/head while praying?...I get some symbolism out of it, besides being advocated by Paul...they didn't argue then in the churches about it...why then now, I beg you to answer???
