Pastor Don:

I am suspicious f a lot of surveys on BOTH sides of several issues; religious, political, etc. I remember the phrase "Lies, damn lies and STATISTICS".

I am sure they have their useful uses (stats, not lies!) when properly and fairly collected and interpreted.

When potential and current spouses have "put away childish things", and are no longer selfish "perpetual teenagers" in their dealings with one another, I am sure they BOTH have a much better Christian testimony for the worl to observe, and younger Christians to follow.

I doubt that the variety of Christians of the variety "the Lord knows them that are His" are int he high percentile rating for dovorce. There are high reportages in this nation for "believers in God", per se, yes ("...the devils also beleive..." James), beleivers in abortion, aprovers of homosexual "marriage", and other abominations to God.

Also, some churches report regular high attndances and tithers, to qualify for 503B building loans, as I understand it.

I don't trust a lot of statistics.
