I can mostly go with this dictionary definition of fundamentalism. It is my belief that with scripture there is some room for interpretation. One of the things we studied in my Biblical Hermeneutics class is interpretation is somewhat like crossing a bridge. You first start on the side of the bridge of when, where, and for whom the original was written to and cross the bridge to now with it and what it means. It seems your definition and the definition that many give fundametalist are derogatory in a sense. "I'd define it as following their interpretation of scripture blindly and dogmatically, judging everybody else by "their" yardstick."
Those of the denomination I am associated with are generally labeled "Fundametalist"I gladly take the "label" if it means the belief that scripture is inerrant, infallible, and true
