Dear Indian..." A correction impresses a person who has understanding more than a hundred lashes impress a fool ' proverbs 17.10

Thank you for quoting the Word of God for me and I figure you consider me a fool to be.That is ok, I can live with that...
1.Cor 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

I admit I need the Word and comments like your's to get to know the truth in general and about India in particular better...true you live there and I believe you have ample knowledge in natural science and I am convinced also in social aspects...I am far from not respecting that.You're new to the board...so you probably haven't noticed how many posts...links.. I loaded in the past on the poor exfamily.org server rather in favour of your country...may be even to the dismay of some readers...I have been there and very happy & proud to have been there....however India is not heaven...neither the US nor...far from it...Germany.You must have noticed, that I am critical of Germany...I would have liked you to show a minimum reciprocate critical attitude for some of the things happening in India...some other posters in that thread argued...oh in a big country like India...shit is bound to happen...also on a religious level...I agree...and the huge amount of people in India to handle is just what has my very deep respect for India...however even China has that problem...your "direct competitor" and they have had not the kind of incidents in that timeframe then you had...

I am not sure whether you bothered to analyse the study at all???Fact is, that it is just making assertion/statements for a limited timeframe...where they compared the events in different countries...plus analysing the laws in the various countries...relating to religious freedom...Now what is wrong with that concept in itself...please tell me???

In sports you can have every 4 years some champion-nation...either in soccer or in athletics...the medal-score/table...varies from
time to time often...so you have winners and "loosers"....although...if I can tell you that...I am not so super impressed by that, there are more important issues than that...especially if one doubts, that the achievements are "morally clean"

Now this religious liberty tally is somewhat in disfavour to your country...again I repeat myself...for a limited timeframe...and now you have people storming to this board all uptight...because they cannot either dig it or handle it???Tough!!...Do I complain, that Germany wasn't really at the top place...but rather Japan or Brazil...again...for that limited timeframe...although, I must add, that laws probably won't change so much in countries until the next study could be performed...So I said: on paper...the law-issue...India does pretty well regarding religious freedom...was I negating that?...IMO it could do better...you can read that up...but far better than other countries...only it happened to have "bad incidents" in that timeframe...which made it loose overall more than may be you would hope for...

That's not my fault, if let's say Saudi Arabia didn't have that problem...again in that timeframe...pls. do get that straight!!!Thank you!!

I know, you' re super intelligent...so I actually don't have to tell you...but I do wonder, why then it fails to be mentioned by you or the other posters?...The study is "true"...at least...for the limited timewindow...I thought you had relitivated that at least!!Unless the sources are questionable...but then again you should also question the sources you draw on to form your opinion...isn't it?

Again...as far as the laws are concerned...I figure...the timeframe is valid longer...

However, by my very limited view...I think you will further have many religion-related conflicts in the Indian subcontinent.There are too many "superiority-complexed" people at one geographical spot...from the staunch Hindus to the very proud Muslims to the having it all Christians...plus some minor religious sects and their issues.

I was living there and even in the eighties, when I was there...I knew many college-people, who couldn't have cared any less about the religion of their forefathers and father...does that ring true to you?

By the way, I was mated to a Sikh-girl...who had embraced our then sectarian way of "Christianity"...must I tell you, that her parents were not "amused"...rather incited...and frankly I don't blame them...I am just saying...I got to know India from very different angels and ...for sure not enough...that's all what I was hinting at...that no ones knowledge about India is allcompassing...isn't it selfevident?So why do you bring up this us westerners against you asians/Indians up again??...sorry, this was/is insulting to me...who had shown a very big...in my view...interest for your country and I was not blowing my trumpet for my country...so why you're resorting to that kind of behaviour?There was a study not long ago about Germany being nowadays among the least nationalistic countries and Sir...I am very proud of that...really proud of it...when I went post highschool to Israel in my summer-vacations...I was ashamed, to be a German...you may be proud to be an Indian...fine for me...by the way, did you know, that for some freaky reason, some Indians fought along the Germans in WWII...when I learned about that recently on TV, I had to chuckle...sorry...I am poking no fun at you...just the amazing course of history.

Since you quoted the Bible to me I do too (from the letter to the Hebrews):

Hbr 11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as [in] a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
Hbr 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker [is] God.
Hbr 11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of [them], and embraced [them], and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

Hbr 11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

Hbr 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that [country] from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

Hbr 11:16 But now they desire a better [country], that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God:for he hath prepared for them a city.

Hbr 11:24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
Hbr 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

Hbr 11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Hbr 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

Now...it's not about Germany...ancient Egypt...modern India...it's about heaven for me...what is for you about?...since you're working also on your Ph D in aerospace engineering...my great respect and compliments...wish you all the best and succeeding in the goals you have set...
Are you still religious?...or rather agnostic?...sorry, just out of curiosity??

Well, one last thing for now...you said:
I did not blame outsiders of India for stirring violence , only Indians from other regions . Always , you can see even in the reports , it is caused by outsiders , not local villagers . Incitement .

Ok..sorry..you didn't ...but I know it's done by others and I might add, that some religious violence comes for sure from outside India
or not??Whether all the villagers always live in harmony everywhere in India...obviously I can't say...who can?...it could be, that it mostly takes someone from the outside capitalising politically or elsewise on some local issue...

If you want to further let off some steem...so to speak...you're welcome to write to me at:

By the way, in the international German company I work, some of my direct superiors happen to be Indian...great world isn't it??
Have a wonderful life!
