I know what you mean by your allusion to Elijah.
Nobody really understanding me much is common to me, too. My "kids" (35, 34, and 32) live in Oregon, Nevada, and California, and I am in Texas. I had two BAD 13-year marriages, and I am single now, waiting for my first ex to die (but not hoping for it--I pray a "Gomer" prayer for her every time I tink of her!). I don't really want her back; though; at this point.
She'd have to have become someone totally different (God can do that; though) for me to stand her. She claims to be an atheist, and taught my only son to be one; too. She was "in" less than a year.
I was only "in" for 2 1/2 years, but that, coupled with undiagnosed Bipolar Disorder I (actually goes back to about age 13), and two INSANE women in a 13-year marriage each, was my equivqlent to your experience--VERY disturbing, in a post traumatic stress disorder kind of way--boo hoo. My cross to carry.
I love this site, too.
I'll have to get over to the public library to see the vids. I love good worship, too!
Just hanging out at the school I work at. It's an extra half hour when late-working parents pick up their kids after the normal time school lets ot--it lets me start a half-hour early!
