Apparently, these priests and priestesses engaged in some odd sexual behaviors -- including castrating themselves, carrying on drunken sexual orgies, and even having sex with young temple prostitutes (male and female) -- all to honor the gods of sex and pleasure.
This is reading into the text it's reducing it all to priests and priestesses...if you read the verses from 18 onward...you should get what I get, that Paul talks in general about people...I got that already in TF...that it's a general reference portion..sorry, but Mel. W. is off the beam and you seriously consider his interpretation on that one...I really wonder
and you're becoming quite offensive CB..don't mind me saying that?..try to refute for a change a little bit that what I already posted... ask your Greek specialist, whether that is true in the links...I shall dig further...but do some labour instead of some bold rhetoric..it ain't hold the water so far...but you're not even trying it..and congrats your dear Mel W. leaves out important passages about Sodom..like in Jude..Peter and others...very convenient...this is not complete like I said...but you fuss about me sputtering...I have to for lack of time...it's you, who likes the link...I don't...so why aren't you defending it with some original posts of your own????
