Spectator:

You call it a "line". Why? Do you assume it denotes a non-existent/phoney/religious experience only? Why?

What if three different experiences occur frequently; namely, the real thing, the religious fleshly imitation, and the satanic counterfeit? That's been the worldwide range of experiences over two thousand years.

Why would your point of view be the only true one; necessarily, with only 33 1/3 % raw probability?

And, are your pseudo-omniscient, about "just about every other mainline" groups' set of experiences? What makes you think you know anything at alll about such a mass of people--Berg's leftover teachings and attitudes in your life? Pain and loss and resultant cynicism?

I'd probably agree with you opinion of "...every other...weirdo-pseudo Christian group", but I'd say that NOT having a REAL "personal relationship with Jesus Christ our savior" WAS the real problem for those, including TF's "another Jesus, another Spirit, and another Gopsel which Scripture warned us all against. We all read 2 Cor 11 while in the cult--I know I did, as well as for 2 Peter 2, and Rev 2:20, so we were forwarned.

If you are a former TFer, as most people on this board are, I'm sorry for what happened to you and yours, and I do hope that you find faith in Jesus; for real.

But, your use of "line" and "weirdo-pseudo Christian group" is a little rough, and disingenous, at best.

Respectfully,
OT2
