I just got back from visiting my mother, after her stroke. I spent a week with her, and she's recuperating well, which is very good. So thank you for your prayers. A younger sister is with her now.
I got to spend some time with her and that was so, so important. Glad I could do it, even if it means working like crazy now that I'm back. And it meant so much to my brothers and sisters to not have to carry all the load themselves. After I left I was thinking, "How could I not have done this?" And yet in the group, we took it for granted that we would never be there for our families, and they knew it.
