I respect Pastor Don and believe that he does have a relationship with the Lord, not that it's up to me to judge. However, while knowing Christ and abiding in Him is, of course, central to salvation, I have been greatly enriched and directed by the important teachings of the Bible. Doctrine is just a fancy word for teaching/s: late 14c., from O.Fr. doctrine (12c.), from L. doctrina "teaching, body of teachings, learning," from doctor "teacher" (see doctor).
