You already have the right to look in another direction, why not look at the hetero couple making out on the other park bench.
Gay rights has nothing to do with giving pedophiles any kind of rights. It quite common for anti-gay crusaders to attack homosexuals by linking them to child molestors.
It is a fact that Bible teachings are used to say that homosexuality is sinful and is a disease that can be cured. This is basically the origin of the legislation that was introduced in Uganda that calls for the execution of people found "guilty of homosexuality". (As far as I know it hasn't been passed into law yet and hopefully never will be.)
In my opinion it's wrong to deny people the right to be the way the were born and/or choose to be. In many places there are laws that need to be passed to give homosexuals freedom to simply be who they are and protection from being denied the same freedoms heterosexual people have. Things like allowing same-sex marriage will not destroy the marriage union and the family, this will not threaten children with molestation. It doesn't hurt anyone.
Farmer said "...and how do I get 'my rights'...when I see same-sex-guys smooching...my stomach turns...can I also 'file' for damages...according to your 'books'?" To me this doesn't make sense. So the gay guys kissing should be illegal because seeing this upsets Farmer's stomach. Other people get sick to their stomachs when they see cars in traffic polluting the air. There's a solution: Go to the drugstore and buy a tummy upset remedy.
