Should the TF teachings be allowed?
My question/response: by whom?...US government/people/majority (plus minority-rights...freedom of speech etc.)
or here on the board??...or?
The point is, I doubt the government could forbid it and here on the board the material is available for people to read it...I don't do it...it's too "primitive"...rather deceptive...misleading
But I think they should be denounced for what their other intentions are...everytime one gets the opportunity...meaning warning the people of all the implications...
I cite/quote:
The material given during this Discipleship Training Program encourages them to consider their personal commitment to the Lord and what they can give back in service to Him in response to the scriptural injunction for disciples: “go into all the world and preach the gospel” (Mk 16:15); “forsake all that you have” (Lk 14:33); “love one another” (Jn 13:35). The goal is to impart to each one a deeper understanding of the calling of a disciple and aid them in finding how they can be a disciple in their personal life's journey.
Since they leave out the teachings of Paul on membership...member of HIS body...including working for sustaining oneself, the teachings of TF remain very selective and thereby put moral pressure and a threat on people, which isn't necessarily in the scripture...
There approach to donors or selling goods, items for a means of support has never been really honest, upfront...as has been discussed numerous times on the exer websites and there is no change for that in sight....sad to say
