While I was away, I got a chance to read some of those Bible prophecy books you recommended. I found Richard Kyle's "The Last Days are Here Again" particularly enlightening. What an excellent book, especially since he was so objective.
The "Last Days Madness" (2nd half) is proving to be quite informative, and the first 1/2 was a good view of the preterist position. Tho I didn't agree with it all and thought his tone was somewhat condescending in places. But I did appreciate quite a bit of it and it was interesting to see how he argued the position. It's good to be exposed to as many viewpoints as possible.
I look forward to discussing some of the more general "Last Days" stuff with you, especially the info in Richard Kyle's book. It confirmed a lot of my gut feelings.
