My response to this second link is that it appears to be closer to the truth than Corner's video. My comment reflected what was said about the "heresy" of Corner's teachings as well as the circle to which you refer. I was raised in the Episcopal/Anglican church and they certainly didn't reach me. However, I know of some Episcopal churches who are semi-Reformed in doctrine and there are some excellent teachers among the Anglicans. Now re: Charismatic churches and the RCC, I have grave concerns. The Methodists do a lot of good works, but having attended a few of their bible studies, I find many of them deficient in their knowledge of the Bible.
Predestination is a difficult doctrine. Paul implies that he had his critics when he discussed it in Romans, e.g. Jacob have I loved and Esau have I hated....etc. The doctrine truly aggravates many, my own sister for example; but if it's the truth and *many* scriptures indicate so, then critics or not, the truth is the truth, and our understanding is imperfect.
