Everyone is looking for sincerity and real faith. I think it's neat how you can relate despite age differences. It goes to show people are looking for the genuine thing and when they see it, they respond.
My wife works in a retirement home and just the other day she had an amazing opportunity to lead an old lady to the Lord. The lady was reading her Bible and not understanding much of anything, very self-condemned for things she'd done in the past and really feeling unworthy of salvation, but my wife took her break-time to explain how simple it was, prayed with her, and the lady was completely overjoyed!
The very things we were once taught the Family had an exclusive on, prayer and witnessing and anything good, turns out God is the one running the show and the Family had no corner on things. It's great to know!
