Good analogy. In the Family, it was clear that we all had to be remade in Berg's image. All cookie-cutter disciples "speaking the same thing, with no divisions amongst us". Yet one of the most wonderful truths I've discovered as a Christian since leaving the cult is that God gave each of us different personalities and intended us to express ourselves in so many different ways, not all thinking the same way, not all doing the same kind of things. Berg's egocentric need to make the world over into his own image and have everyone "yes" men was totally against God's plan.
