Josh is one of our more eh-hem tolarted posters. He has some issues with communications, partly because of his being French-Canadian so maybe there is a language thing and partly what else, I'm not quite sure. We who have spent much time in conversations have learned to ignore or take lightly these types of posts. Do not take offense, simply do not respond if you feel the post is plainly off the wall.
About your story - how old are you now and hold old is your child? I want you to know that I wrote out my story and the people here graciously put it on line for me (Mercy's Story). It was very gratifying just getting it out and off my chest and so that the world would see the other, uglier side of the COG, once one gets passed the slurripy kisses and clingy hugs that want to turn you to their direction. I was like you at first, worried what the F. could do to me or what do to me if I published the truth about them. Fact is, it's been up for a few years now and absolutely nothing has transpired. I even stay in touch with my daughter who is still in. That was my biggest worry. I surmise that if they have been told they can't come to exmember sites, and if they read these things here, they can't tell the leadership orloyalist type members, so that would explain why they read, but they dont say much. I no longer worry about the F and what they might do to me. Sam Ajemian is a perfect example. They have tried for years to get him off of his mission - sending threatening letters which they never follow up on, sending letters of instruction about what he should - as if he's still under their control. Good luck and don't let them keep beating you down, even afteryou have left them. For some of us, this is a hard world and something we must truly work at. Goodluck and let me know what happens to the story - it needs to be heard!!!!
