I'm not sure that I believe in miracles, if you are referring to the 'miraculous healing' or things like that. I believe that good things can happen unexpectedly, and if people want to call it a miracle, and it makes them happy to do so, that's great! But I don't really believe that a 'Christian' has any greater power in causing or being the benefactor of 'miracles' than the average person, unexplained phenomenon, good and bad, happen all over the world in every culture and belief system.
Perhaps there was an original group of people once upon a time who had something extraordinary happen to them and since they didn't know how to explain it without being labelled as weird or strange, they called it a miracle, an act of God, and from that time on all unexplained good things have been called miracles?
