That was David Hoyt, his whole group in Atlanta was joining the COG. I was at Zion too and I remember the same thing, when he talked about the 2 sticks becoming one.
Later didn't David Hoyt have the honor of being the key personnage in Berg's "Baalzebub--Lord of the Flies" letter, where Berg said David Hoyt needed to be excorcised?
