I just don't get it. You do realise that the Family preaches that Mary wasn't a virgin. (being screwed by an angel disqualifies from the virgin catagory.) Yet if I remember right, people who believe the basics about Jesus, believe she was a virgin.
Also Berg believe Jesus wasn't a virgin. Which meant Jesus was a sinner. Because Jesus classed fornication as evil. So that plows right into Jesus being perfect. (He had a blemish so how can he have made the sacrifice for us? In bed with Mary and Martha at the same time)
What I think you may be missing is that although Berg might have said 'Jesus saves' His Jesus had nothing to do with most people's ideal of Jesus and his history.
