We try to keep the boards sticking to different themes according to the rules and guidelines, but that's not always possible.
Sometimes, like recently, we had topics that were better suited to genX, but posters seemed more comfortable to have civil conversations and to
explore potentially passionate and emotional topics under the umbrella of "searching for spiritual spiritual values." Hmmm... talk about complicated sentences ;-)
To answer your question, "looking for so and so" posts would probably fit best on genX.
We once talked about creating a board specially for people looking for friends and loved ones. Although the exFamily Directory will cover that somewhat, perhaps it's a real need to have a specific board just for that purpose. A better idea might be to expand the Academic/Research board's Rules and Guidelines to include "looking for so and so" posts. We'll talk it over and make a decision
