This is a great cause and worth giving to or helping in some way. Not everyone can help, but God put my wife and I in a postion just days before this post to where we can. We had just moved end-of-the-month into a huge new property with a big old farmhouse, with fruit trees in the back yard, a terrific view of mountains and hills. Then two days later Jules' appeal came out! My wife and I knew immediately that we should help.
The story of how we got this new place is quite a miracle. I like fruit trees and the countryside so had prayed for a place in the country. My wife wanted a place in the city, near shops and people. So God gave us the LAST house on the edge of the city. To our right is civilization, townhouses and shops. To our left is open fields, trees, hills, mountains and blue sky, and all kinds of fruit trees and garden space in our back yard, not to mention grape vines.
When we moved in we were thinking, "Wow! God sure loves us!" but then when we saw Jules' post, we realized that He had had a plan in mind with us getting this place, and that he not only loved us, but exiting Family members as well. My wife had said just a month ago that she wanted a house with enough rooms so that we could take in missionaries on furlough, and lo and behold this appeal comes out!
Of course, work still needs to be done on some of the first floor rooms to get this place ready, but a local SGA who is a handyman is excited about helping us get things ready.
