by the way, i did not get the impression pd was "cheerleading" for buddhism. simply exploring an option from the authoritarian brand of "bible- based" (i use the term loosely) religion that has created so many difficulties in the life of so many here. i don't think she minds interracting on the subject, but a certain gentleness in offering our veiwpoints does seem appropriate under the circumstances. imo.
