What you need to remember is that in the context of the history of Christianity Paul was pretty much the final editor of what went into the New Testament. A lot of his selections were for political reasons and most of it has nothing whatsoever to do with the historical Jesus or God? for that matter. Its very interesting to look into the life of Paul. Its actually nothing like what Berg portrayed it to be.
