I remember when my wife first left the Family (I left it first) that she always said, "Yes Sir" to my questions, or "No Sir" and it used to drive me batty. I finally got her to stop that. I see our marriage as an equal partnership, like a democracy if you will. I'm not the boss and neither is she, but we discuss things. And the process works very well for us.
Now if you will excuse me, I have several more burkhas to put through the shredder and make little whips out of.
