Thanks Donnie for such a gentle handling of my breach of etiquette. You are right, gentleness and respect are a common tone on this board. I guess an introduction of my point of view would have helped define my meaning. I have only recently come back to loving scripture after many detours and philosophical pursuits. I can only echo the trials I have read from others here. But I finally did stop choking on the family filth and went back to the source, critically demanding meaning and relevance from them. I found it there, where it always was but had come out perverted. I can not be condecending because I consider having no superiority. But do the scriptures not hold up to scrutiny and have a value? Thanks again for your guidance.
