I don't know about dealing with new teachings so much. more just getting rid of the old & clearing away the junk of Mo-ism & the sectarian interptations of the COG. Why some of those oldtimers like me still hang onto Berg? I think its because they joined way back when witnessing& the good stuff still hapened so they can't come to terms yet that it changed intoa frankinstien. They don't want to admit that the truth became a lie & shangrila became a gulag camp. so they play down the bad stuff & child abuse. I think donny said once they don't want to admit it was a lie becuase then they have this huge hole in their lives.
